Okay, let’s focus on the bottom part of the build. The client requested a 400cc upgrade and specifically asked for an enlargement to fit a 72 mm CG piston and cylinder . To achieve this, we filled the crankcase with welds to accommodate the larger cylinder. Additionally, we worked on adjusting the studs, repositioning, and reinforcing them on one side for extra durability.
This setup now includes a 72 mm piston cylinder for a CG400 crankshaft . We’re preparing it for a 150cc event , and it’s already equipped with oversized bolts since it will be used in high-performance conditions. While this isn’t a Delgado Valero setup, it’s built to handle a 66 mm piston with a 16 mm Viela pin . We’re using this configuration in a 250cc cylinder for a smaller crankcase. Although it originally fit a 65.5 mm piston , we modified it to work with the 66 mm piston as requested.
You can see the adjustments here, with the holes prepped for a Racing cam . We opted for a 7.5 mm lift cam , suitable for street use—though it could also be used for light racing. If you need something more aggressive, we have an 8 mm cam that’s specifically designed for racing.
This setup also includes the necessary screws, studs, and the bolts that secure the head and rocker arms. Don’t forget, we offer nationwide shipping across Mexico . For more details or orders, feel free to contact us at 8613690833592 . This CG400 crankshaft setup is ready to go!
